Interested in having a real brass band at your event? The Allegheny Brass Band is available for any gathering, large or small. In fact, we're actively seeking co-sponsors for concerts at schools, community centers, churches, retirement homes ... just about anywhere people gather to hear good music. Or e-mail,
The ABB is a non-profit entity, which means your donations to support live brass music are tax deductible. If you'd like to make a donation, please make your check payable to "Allegheny Brass Band." and mail it to: Allegheny Brass Band P.O. Box 15100 Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Your name will be listed in our concert programs in return.

Janis Ramey plays English baritone in the Allegheny Brass Band and euphonium in the Community Band South. She also gets a kick out of playing with a small group called the "Brassy Broads". She returned to playing an instrument thirty years after putting it down after the last concert in high school.
